Indian police have seized Bitcoins worth 1.2 Million U.S dollars from a 25-year old Bengaluru, Karnataka-based hacker.

According to India Today, Srikrishna the hacker used an alias named “Shreeki” to perform the attack. He was arrested on November 18, 2020, for allegedly breaking into government websites, online gaming portals, and websites, informed the police commissioner.
India Today reported, Srikrishna used malware to hack four websites. However, this hacker reportedly used to hack online poker sites and win Bitcoins and fiat money.
Further mentioned by the report, during the investigation, it was found “Shreeki” had hacked three cryptocurrency exchanges and ten poker sites. The Bengaluru police commissioner reported that Bitcoin is worth around 1.2 Million U.S dollars.
