The major bull run of most cryptocurrencies ended up in a new milestone. The market cap of all cryptocurrencies hits a new all-time high of $1.13 trillion according to Coinmarketcap.
At 8.50 am UTC on February 04, 2021, the combined cryptocurrency market cap surged up to $1.13 trillion beating the last hype which was around $822 Billion in the 2017 bull run.
The interesting fact is the crypto market cap is one step behind the total silver market cap at just under $1.5 trillion. To this milestone, Bitcoin and Ethereum together made a strong portion of the whole market cap. They both also recorded a new all-time high of Bitcoin’s at $41,941.56 and Ethereum’s at $1,689.19.
When talking about market dominance, at the time of total market cap breaks $1 trillion, Bitcoin dominance was at 69%, and Ethereum dominance was at 13.5% according to the data of Coinmarketcap.
But things went different when Ethereum hits its all-time high at $1,689.19 on February 3rd, 2021. And that price with market circulation was strong enough to move down Bitcoin dominance by 7.4%.
